3 foundations…3 finishes…3 price ranges…3 of my faves!
Flower About Face Foundation ($14) – This is a ‘dewy’ finish full coverage foundation. A dewy finish means thats the the foundation applies to the skin giving it a hydrated glow. Sort of like how dew sits on grass. This type of foundation finish is good for those with dry skin. I have combo skin and tend to like a semi-matte look and I do that with this foundation by applying some powder on top. Usually MAC studio fix powder in NC 45.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid ($27) – I LOVE this foundation. Its a full coverage ‘matte’ finish. Matte means there is no luminous shiny glow. This foundation is excellent for those with oily skin and is great at minimizing pores. This is my go to summer foundation because it holds up great in the heat when I get sweaty and oily PLUS it contains SPF 15 sunscreen! However, sometimes matte foundation can make you look flat so you can add dimension and a little glow to your face by using powdered highlighters and bronzers to accentuate your cheeks / bone structure.
NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ($48) – I really love this foundation as well, its so lightweight and in between. Its not dewy nor is it matte, it leaves a natural finish and feels like a second skin because its so lightweight. I consider it medium coverage but you can definitely build on coverage if you need to by simply using more product.
We’ve been wanting to try the MAC foundation for while. Have you tried the Too Faced Born This Way? One of our favs!

I haven’t tried the Too Faced Born This Way foundation but I have heard good things about it! It will be the next sample I ask for when I go to Sephora, haha 🙂
